- Remark: Girmay, a midwife at Ayder Referral Hospital in Mekelle, was killed by the Ethiopian and Eritrean soldiers on December 6, 2020, while treating civilian victims of drone bombardments in his hometown, Werqamba. To intimidate local civilians, the invading soldiers refused to allow his body to be retrieved for three days, leaving it exposed as a deliberate act of cruelty.
