- Remark: Mr. Gebremedhin, a garage owner in Bahir Dar, was a victim of mob justice in the city of Bahir Dar, Amhara region, due to his Tigrayan identity. He was attacked by a mob of Amhara Fano and security forces inside a detention center in Bahir Dar. On December 8, 2021, while returning from a court hearing, the mob jumped over the fences and stoned him to death.
